We met Koala Insulation of Greater Knoxville in April of 2024 to provide on-site training with their new equipment set-up. They recently bought into the Koala franchise and needed training on their blowing machine (CM1500HP) and their insulation removal vacuum (CoolVac37).
The CM1500HP and the CoolVac37 are a great combination to start-up an insulation company. Here are some reasons to consider:
CM1500HP: Insulation Blower
This is a great, powerful insulation blower that will match the productivity of the standard CM2400. It has a smaller footprint, so trucks and trailers can be a little smaller. This machine can insulate standard residential homes quickly. If Koala of Great Knoxville runs into a custom home, greater than 3,000 sq feet, they will still have plenty of power and speed. This machine can insulate to R-49 (16” depth), 1,000 sq feet in one hour flat. Also, the portability gives them the opportunity to reach the harder to access places. There may be times that the access to the attic is best through the backyard.
CoolVac37: Insulation Vacuum
Usually, companies start with a smaller vacuum. The CoolVac37 gives plenty of power and speed that will help Koala of Greater Knoxville get in and out of attics faster. That is important because their summers can create immense heat in the attic. Speed is important! This insulation removal vacuum can also handle R30, 24” wide faced batts WHOLE.
