We stopped in to see Josue Chipahua, owner of Smart Seal Design, in Ruston, Louisiana. It was great seeing his rigs and chatting about his business.
Josue primarily focuses on spray foam. He has been spraying for 9 years, having learned how to spray from his father. His equipment and trailer look sharp! He has top of the line spray equipment and a nice generator to run the machine.
In 2023, Josue purchased a CM2400 through us. His machine has the upgraded 16 inch airlock. As a spray foamer, he realized that a standard insulation blower helps him service more customers. It is important for an insulation company to diversify and be prepared for offering more services.
Retro Krendl 200
Retro Krendl 200: Josue came across an old Krendl 200 blowing machine. I reminisced with him how we used one of them to insulate a number of apartments when I was in high school. It took a month of continuous work to do that. These machines send the insulation through a blower. The fan is made of cast aluminum and is only designed to blow cellulose.
